So far this summer there has really not been a lot of sunshine. In fact, in Central Vermont we have been overcome with rain. Seems everyday we have a downpour or thunderstorm. The ground is so saturated that we have standing puddles in our garden....deep puddles! In between showers the other day, when there was a little peaking of sunshine, we decided to get out of the house and take a walk. With trusty sidekick Maya we headed to one of my favorite spots off the beaten path with camera in tow. Hope you enjoy the pictures. I love Vermont.
All of the rain had this usually tranquil waterfall that cascades over a beautiful old water worn slate ledge roaring.
